Professional Forestry Education for the First Time in Telangana State
FCRI Hyderabad, the brain child of our visionary Chief Minister
Sri. K Chandrashekar Rao, is established in the year 2016.
Curriculum includes professional forestry courses along with biological, environmental, social and management sciences. It enables exposure to fundamental principles of multiple use forestry and ecosystem management.
An Integrated forestry syllabi in accordance with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) at national level to cater the needs of local and global.
The balanced academic programme unlocks the potential and hones the strengths and abilities of individuals to gain confidence to push one towards new horizons. The Mentorship programme will guide the students for academic excellence.
The main motto of these clubs is to encourage the students in all activities which helps them to improve their skills and also in enriching the quality of taking responsibilities.

Smt. Sailaja has 14 years of Research, Teaching and Extension
experience in Indian Council of Agricultural Research Institutes, Telangana State
Forest Department and Prof Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University.
She worked with ICAR-Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad in estimation
of temperature thresholds and thermal constants for development and survival of
rice leaf folder, rice plant hoppers which is used for development of phenology
models for forecasting the pests. She worked with ICAR-Central Research Institute
for Dryland Agriculture where she has prepared 114 District Agriculture Contingency
Plans for different states in India to manage various weather aberrations
addressing different sectors of agriculture in NICRA Project.

Dr. Mohammed Abdul Waseem Waseem completed his Master of Science
in Agricultural Entomology from College of Agriculture, Allahabad Agricultural University, with his
M.Sc. research focused on Impact of different intercrops for the management of
gram pod borer (Helicoverpa armigera) in chickpea.
He obtained his Doctorate in Entomology specializing in Apiculture,

Dr. Sumit
has more than five years of research and teaching experience in various universities in India and abroad. He received his Bachelor of Science (Forestry) from College of Forestry, Dapoli, Maharashtra and Master of Science (Wood Science and Technology) from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He received his Ph.D. from University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia.
His doctoral research focused on the modification of nanoclay using transition metal ion and its effect on mechanical, physical, and thermal properties of Wood-plastic composites.

Dr. Reeja has nine years of Teaching, Research and Extension experience. Her subjects of expertise include Tree Genetics, Tree Breeding and Improvement with special focus on clonal forestry and Conservation Biology.
She has also worked extensively on the improvement of Bio-diesel crop Jatropha. She started her career in 2009 as SMS at KVK, Vriddhachalam, TNAU. Remote sensing is another area of interest to her with special focus on hyperspectral sensing and techniques.

Dr. Shalini Mudalkar
has published sixteen research articles and two book chapters, which have received numerous citations. Her scientific interests include plant tissue culture, molecular biology, plant stress biology, "omics" studies and molecular characterization of medicinal, aromatic, and dye-yielding plants.

Dr. Sreedhar Bodiga

Mrs. Perala Nikitha has completed her M.Sc. in Agriculture Extension at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar.
